At the time of this post being made, we have completed our basic tests and have confirmed that WP OAuth Server is now compatible with WordPress’s network site functionality. Initially, support was limited to the “prefix_users” table in the database and caused conflicts for future development.
Recent changes to both the core and our plugin now allow for what seems to be support for multiple instances of WP OAuth Server on a network install. Although our tests have shown no issues, we are still experimenting and trying to break it. With this said, we wanted to let you know that OAuth is working with WordPress but use it wisely at the moment. Our testing was completed using WordPress 5.7 with Networking enabled and WordPress OAuth Server 4.1.7.
If you are feeling jolly and would like to test, please do! We would love to hear back from you if you are using it already. Feedback is encouraged and extremely helpful to the project. All feedback for multisite/network support can be sent to email@example.com.
